2016-2017 Extended Program
After serving our community for over eight years, Claremont Yoga is proud to offer our Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Teacher Training Program. Our course offers students a strong foundation from which to share their love of yoga competently and confidently, through in-depth study and guidance.
This is a 9-session, weekend training to deepen your practice and certify you to teach Yoga with a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Lead teachers are Claremont Yoga co-owners, Tracy Brennan, Nicole Riel, and other expert guest teachers.
Schedule
The course is designed to fit into an active schedule, with plenty of time for practice, study, and reflection. We will meet one weekend a month. Our next Teacher Training is scheduled for September 16th through May 7th.

March 11/12, April 1/2, May 6/7

Claremont Yoga Mentoring Program
The Claremont Yoga mentorship program provides a unique, personal approach to continuing and evolving your yoga journey. Designed to go beyond your initial 200 hour training and give you the tools and confidence to deepen your understanding of the needs of variety of students (advanced, special conditions, prenatal, all-level classes).
We offer a flexible schedule for people with full lives and busy schedules. Over the course of 6 months, you will be guided through an in-depth study of asana practice, observation and teaching skills, and personal study. Creating your own intentions for the program, you will be paired with an experienced teacher who will challenge and support you to find your own voice as a teacher.
The program has flexible hours and is made up of the following components:
Asana practice/Observation/Assisting
30 classes (minimum of one per week) spent taking class (10), observing class (10), assisting mentor in class (10) , and practice teaching (throughout).
INDIVIDUAL/PERSONAL STUDY
4 one hour long, one-on-one individual, personalized sessions. These sessions can be spent discussing/practicing specific asanas, goal-setting, creating class sequences, working on therapeutic/individual issues, etc. Your mentor can assist you with reading and writing assignments based on your personal intentions.
Practice Teaching
You will have the opportunity to lead 2 full-length public classes. Your mentor will observe the class and provide valuable feedback.

SCHEDULE
This program is flexible and can start at any time, coordinating with your mentor.
COST
$650 if paid in full. Payment plans are available. $125 per month (for six months) $750 total.
